    Yes, you can customize the parameters of the EDFA card. If you would like more information about customization, please contact your account manager.
  • Does this device come with a power supply, and do I need any additional equipment?
    No, this EDFA Amplifier Module is used together with the chassis and is powered by the chassis, such as QT850, QT860, QT900 chassis.
  • I'm confused whether I need this EDFA Amplifier Module, can you tell me what are the scenarios where I need to use it?
    It is applicable for scenarios with extensive actual distances between optical cables, significant attenuation in the optical cable, and a requirement for optical signal amplification. You can adapt EDFA according to the performance of the module currently used in your actual optical link environment. For example, if the optical link length is 50KM but the maximum transmission distance of the optical module is only 40KM, then you need to use an EDFA amplifier module because it helps reduce Optical signal attenuation.
