Given that the client requires connection over 100km, QSFPTEK recommended the QSFPTEK 1G SFP modules, particularly the QT-SFP-03150D 1000BASE SFP modules, which can achieve direct connections of up to 150 km using single-mode duplex optical cables. For such a long-haul transmission, this solution saved the trouble of adding extra WDM OTN equipment compared to WDM solutions. It ensured Nebius interconnects its new R&D hub with existing hubs, providing the necessary bandwidth and reliability.
