Cisco QSFP-100G-CU1M compatible 100G QSFP28 DAC is comprised of a Twinax copper cable terminated with QSFP28 form factor modules on both ends. It is verified to interoperate with original Cisco switches, including the Catalyst 9400, 9500, 9600 and the Nexus 9200, 9300, 9500, 3000 series. 100G DAC cable has the advantage of convenient installation since the structure of modules is permanently attached to each end.
QSPF28 to QSFP28 100G DAC cable is suitable for very short-distance transmission. It provides a cost-effective and low power consumption way to build a 100Gb link between QSFP28 ports of switches or routers with racks and across adjacent racks.

This QSFPTEK 100G DAC cable was ready to use with our servers straight away. Latency is almost zero and speed is excellent. The only drawback is that the cable is slightly stiff in tight racks. Nevertheless, it's an excellent solution for short, high-speed connections.

I am very impressed with this DAC cable. The last batch I bought had a very soft cable that was not too hard to manage. Within the 1-3m distance I need, using a DAC is a very good solution, and the cost is slightly cheaper than the optical module combination.

This 100G DAC cable performed well in interconnecting servers over short distances, the link was established quickly and data transfer was stable with no degradation or miscoding. Considering the price of this product, there is no room for nitpicking on features. However, it is worth noting that the material of the DAC cable is hard and not very flexible for bending, so if your rack space is limited, you should consider whether it is suitable for your cabling environment.
