I'm usually responsible for data center maintenance, and the biggest headache is the wide variety of equipment models. Later, I purchased a batch of QSFPTEK modules, including this 2SR4. I'm quite satisfied with the good product consistency; modules in the same batch performed similarly, without any instances of excessive overheating or significant parameter deviations, making subsequent management much easier.

We used these during a rack expansion project and everything was consistent from unit to unit. No surprises during installation, which is exactly what you want at this scale.

My impression of the SR4 is simply: worry-free. I plugged it in, it was recognized, it was running, and I never had to worry about it again. We have multi-rack short-distance interconnections, and we used the existing cabling from the OM4. There weren't any dramatic performance issues, but it's precisely this "no problems" that's quite rare.

I normally don't leave reviews for optics, but this one deserves a mention. We ordered several units for a GPU cluster expansion and every module came up cleanly. The MPO connections were easy to manage since they matched our existing cabling. Nothing fancy to report, which is exactly what I want from a transceiver.

One thing we appreciated was the consistent EEPROM information across all units. Our automation scripts detected every module correctly, which made large-scale deployment a lot smoother.

Setup took maybe a few minutes total. Links came up immediately and have been stable ever since.

Installed in our Spectrum-4 switch without issues. Stable 800G performance, low latency, and temperature stayed surprisingly well controlled.

This module was deployed on the SN5600; the connection is stable, transmission quality is high, and there are no compatibility issues.

These modules have been running reliably in our environment for several weeks now. Setup was simple, power levels look stable, and the overall quality feels pretty good.

This 2SR4 is for short-distance multimode interconnection. Compared to another similar product I used before, I feel that this one has slightly better heat management. To be honest, the biggest problem with these short-range modules is instability, but this one has been working quite reliably so far.
