    NVIDIA/Mellanox MMA1Z00-NS400-T Compatible 400G QSFP112 SR4 PAM4 Optical Transceiver Module (850nm, 50m, MPO-12 APC Connector, MMF, 0℃ to +70℃, DOM)

     

    The NVIDIA/Mellanox MMA1Z00-NS400-T Compatible 400GBASE-SR4 QSFP112 transceiver module supports a max data rate of 425Gbps. It enables the fiber link of 50m over OM4 MMF with MPO-12 APC connectors. QSFPTEK manufactured SR4 QSFP112 complies with QSFP112 MSA, CMIS Rev 5.0, RoHS, IEEE 802.3df-2024 4x100GBASE-SR1/2x200GBASE-SR2/1x400GBASE-SR4 optical interface and 4x100GAUI-1/2x200GAUI-2/1x400GAUI-4 C2M electrical interface. DDM function is supported on the 400G fiber optic transceiver to achieve real-time operating parameters monitoring. Adopting the Pulse-amplitude Modulation (PAM4) electrical and optical modulation, the Short Reach 4-channel (SR4) QSFP112 achieves 400 Gigabit Ethernet through 4-channels of 100G-PAM4.

     

    This 400G SR4 QSFP112 is an Ethernet (ETH) single-port transceiver module. While not for use in switches, it is designed to be used in ConnectX-7/QSFP112 adapters or BlueField-3/QSFP112 DPUs linked to Twin-port transceivers in 2x400G ETH switches. Its most typical application scenario is: A pair of single-port flat top 400G SR4 QSFP112 (MMA1Z00-NS400-T) is independently connected to one of the connectors of the twin-port 800G 2x400G 2SR4 OSFP (MMA4Z00-NS) module in a Spectrum-4 Ethernet switch. The MMA1Z00-NS400-T 400G module can operate in either 400Gb/s or 200Gb/s speed modes, depending on the number of connected fiber optic cables. This allows for corresponding connectivity scenarios of 800G to 2x 400GBASE-SR4 and 4x 200GBASE-SR4 breakout applications, respectively.
