    NVIDIA/Mellanox Compatible 400G QSFP112 FR4 InfiniBand NDR Optical Transceiver Module (1310nm, 2km, 2x Duplex LC/UPC Connectors, SMF, 0℃ to +70℃, DDM)

     

    The NVIDIA/Mellanox Compatible 400GBASE-FR4 QSFP112 transceiver module supports a max data rate of 425Gbps. It enables the fiber link of 2km over SMF with duplex LC/UPC connectors. QSFPTEK manufactured  400GBASE-FR4 QSFP112 complies with QSFP112 MSA Specification Rev2.0, IEEE 802.3ck and CMIS Rev5.0. DDM function is supported on the 400G fiber optic transceiver to achieve real-time operating parameters monitoring. Adopting the Pulse-amplitude Modulation (PAM4) modulation, the FR4 QSFP112 achieves 400 Gigabit Ethernet through 4x 106.25 PAM4 Retimed 400GAUI-4 C2M electrical interface. The 400G FR4 QSFP112 is widely used for 400 gigabit Ethernet, 800G to 2x 400GBASE-FR4 breakout, data center and InfiniBand NDR applications.

    • What does QSFP112 mean?
      A 400G QSFP uses 4 x 100Gb/s PAM-4 elec lanes. "112" refers to the the max data rate (112Gb/s) each electrical interface can handle.
    • Can I use the QSFP112 optical transceivers in OSFP switches?
      You cannot directly use QSFP112 module in OSFP switch, because QSFP112 and OSFP are physically different, incompatible form factors.
    • Can 400G QSFP112 SR4 module be used as 200G?
      Yes, it can be used as 200G module.
