QSFPTEK S7600 Series Layer 3 managed switches are a set of compact, high-performance 1G/10G/25G/40G/100G switches based on carrier-lever switching chips that feature ultra-low latency, high reliability, and high capacity. S7600 supports multiple data center features including Priority-based Flow Control (PFC), Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation (MLAG), VXLAN, EVPN, and VARP, suitable for high-end enterprise, campus networks, and small-and-middle sized data centers. Available in 6 configurations, high-density 10G SFP+ or 25G SFP28 ports with 100G QSFP28 or 40G QSFP+ ports that can be used for uplink configurations. S7600 Series Data Center Switches Features and Highlight

Convenient and Easy Management

The S7600 Series data center switches are equipped with various management ports, including Console ports, web-based management ports, and USB ports, enabling various management and maintenance methods, such as SNMPv1/v2/v3 and CLI (Command Line Interface). S7600 supports SSH2.0, NTP, RMON, Ethernet point-to-point OAM, etc. ensuring stable and easy management.

Various IPv6 Features

The S7600 Series supports IPv4/IPv6 dual stack and IPv6 over IPv4 TUNNEL, which means S7600 switches can be deployed on  IPv4 networks, IPv6 networks, or shared IPv4/IPv6 networks, ensuring a smooth transition from IPv4 to IPv6. S7600 Series also supports multiple IPv6 routing protocols including IPv6 RIPng and OSFPv3. NDP (Neighbor Discovery Protocol), and PMTU (Path MTU Discovery) features are also available, managing packets exchanged between neighbors and improving network resource utilization between the source and destination hosts. 

Data Center VXLAN Feature

The S7600 Series supports Layer 2/Layer 3 VXLAN gateway, BGP, and EVPN functions, enabling establishing a virtual tunnel between two switches across the basic IP network, and virtualizing the data center network into a large Layer 2 virtual switch, meeting the requirements of large-scale migration of virtual switches.

MLAG Function

The S7600 Series supports the MLAG (Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation) function, which enables multiple switches to aggregate into one via peer-link aggregation, providing device-level link backup. Switches in an MLAG system share traffic and back up each other. As the following figure shows, when the uplink of the master device is down, the traffic through the master device will be forwarded through the peer-link. Moreover, switches in an MLAG pair are independent, which means devices can be upgraded or expanded without interruption, ensuring high-flexible and reliable network construction.

Comprehensive Security Control

The S7600 Series is equipped with advanced security features to neutralize threats such as preventing ARP spoofing, man-in-the-middle attacks, DoS ( Denial of Service) attacks, IP/MAC spoofing attacks, DHCP request flood attacks, etc.

RDMA Network

The S7600 Series supports the RDMA network based on PFC (Priority Flow Control) and ECN (Explicit Congestion Notification) technologies. With these technologies, data need not be processed through the CPU, thus reducing CPU overhead and providing high throughput, lossless, and ultra-low latency transmission.

S7600 Series Application

Application in Three-Layer Network Architecture

S7600 Series provides at least 540 Mpps forwarding performance and supports L2/L3 line-rate forwarding. With abundant 10GE/25GE ports, the S7600 series can be used as 10GE/25GE access switches, providing large-bandwidth access for users and helping enterprises build a high-reliable, virtualized, and non-blocking data center network. 

 

S7600 Series can also be used as aggregation or core switches on campus networks creating a highly reliable, scalable, and manageable enterprise campus network with extension service features. MLAG improves network reliability. VXLAN can be used on campus networks to support flexible service deployment in different service areas.
