24-Port Ethernet L3+ Switch, 24x 10Gb SFP+, with 2x 40Gb QSFP+ Uplinks, Support MLAG, VXLAN, S7600-24X2Q

The QSFPTEK S7600-24X2Q 24-port 10Gb Ethernet switch comes with 24x 10Gb SFP+ and 2x 40Gb QSFP+ uplinks ports (each QSFP+ port can be split to 4x 10G ports), providing converged 10G and 40G fiber links. It delivers 640 Gbps switching capacity and 480 Mpps forwarding rate to meet high-performance aggregation layer requirements.

As a layer 3+ managed switch, it supports full layer 3 features (static routing, RIP, OSPF, BGP, etc.) and advanced data center features such as MLAG for high-reliability and VXLAN, NVGRE, GENEVE tunnel technology for virtual networking.

S7600 series switches support remote direct memory access (RDMA), which over other network APIs for lower latency, CPU load and higher bandwidth. This 24 port 10Gb switch caters to the Ethernet aggregation platform to HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure), Metro, Data Center, and Enterprise application.

Product details

High-Performance L3+ 10G Aggregation Switch with 40G Uplinks

S7600-24X2Q has 24x 10G SFP+ ports and 2x 40G QSFP+ uplinks, providing converged fiber connections downlink to 10G access and uplink to 40G core.

With a switching capacity of 640 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 480 Mpps, it also meets high-performance requirements at the layer 3+ aggregation platform

to next-generation Enterprise, Data Center, Metro and HCI networks.

1+1 Hot-Swappable Power Supplies and 2+1 Built-in Fans for Hardware Redundancy

Hot-swappable 1+1 redundant power supplies allow power supplies to be replaced without shutting down the system.

The front-to-rear airflow of 2+1 fans can automatically adjust speed to control noise and power consumption.

ECN and PFC Ensure Lossless Transmission of End-To-End Data

RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access) provides high throughput and ultra-low latency with low CPU overhead.

Once end-to-end network connectivity is established, PFC (Priority Flow Control) and ECN (Explicit Congestion Notification) can be enabled to ensure lossless transport for RoCE traffic.

Applied for Traditional 3-Tier Architecture as Aggregation Layer Switch

S7600-24X2Q can be used as an aggregation switch in the traditional 3-tier architecture to downlink 10G access layer switches and uplink 40G core layer switches.

MLAG Ensures Equipment Reliability and Link Redundancy

MLAG (Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation) aggregates links across different devices to achieve device-level redundancy and high-reliability network solution.

Questions & Answers

  • Do your S5600 or S7600 series switches support NG-mVPN?
Sorry, Our S5600 and S7600 series switches support BGP EVPN, L2VPN, and L3VPN, but don't support NG-mVPN.
  • What is the difference between S7600-48Y8C and S7600-48X8C?
The main difference between the two is that the downstream port of 48Y8C is SFP28 port, which supports 10G/25G, while the downstream port of 48X8C is SFP+ port. The rest of the features and functions are basically the same.
  • What is MLAG? What are the advantages of MLAG?
MLAG can build an Active-Active system to improve the reliability of the network links from single board grade to device grade. MLAG uses a peer link between to devices to aggregate two devices and make them as one device logically. Ports of two different devices join the aggregate ports together and all ports can transmit the data traffic.

I've been looking for a switch with multiple 10G ports. I've bought switches from other brands before, but they were too expensive. For long-term development, I chose a QT switch, which has 24 10G SFP+ ports and 2 100G QSFP28 uplink ports to meet my business needs. In addition, it supports CLI and WEB management, and with its surprisingly low price, there's no reason not to choose QT.

For me personally, the initial setup is pretty straightforward. I have experience with the product so that helps. If you're an experienced user, it shouldn't be too difficult to implement. Otherwise, you're going to have to spend some time learning about it and how it works.

We have been cooperating with QT for more than 2 years. At first we only imported optical modules and found them to be very competitive, responsive and knowledgeable. This year, we need to build a complete optical network for a small business, so we decided to purchase all the kits from QT, this decision not only helps us save costs, but also the network runs smoothly

Being a Cisco shop I wanted to try one and see if it would work well with our network as a more cost effective solution for some areas. They are easy to set up.Obviously, it did not disappoint me.It would be nice if the express was faster.
