Stacking Capacity

Stacking technology allows multiple switches to be connected together and managed as a logical unit, providing various advantages and solutions to common problems. This includes increasing network capacity and bandwidth, simplifying network management, and reducing downtime. You can choose the appropriate switch based on the number of devices you need and whether you plan to expand in the future. If you only need a few switches and do not plan to expand, the S5300-24P4TS and S5300-8P2S without stacking support can meet your needs. If you need a convenient management solution for a smaller number of switches, the S5300-24P4X supporting stacking of two devices is a good option. However, if you require a larger number of switches, the S5300-48P6X and S5310-48P6X are undoubtedly the best choices, supporting stacking of up to eight switches and making management even more convenient.


PoE+ Port for Easy Deployment

Providing power and data connection to end devices with a single cable through the PoE+ ports on the switch is undoubtedly the best option to simplify deployment. End devices do not need external power sources, reducing the number of cables and providing a more convenient connection for devices far from power sources. The S5300 series PoE switches support the 802.3af/at PoE+ standard, providing up to 15.4W PoE or 30W PoE+ per port. However, it should be noted that the configuration of end devices should be based on the total power budget of the switch.


Power Budget

The power budget of a switch determines how much power can be provided to connected devices through PoE ports. When deploying PoE devices, it is necessary to calculate the total power consumption of connected devices so that it does not exceed the power budget of the switch. If you require a higher power budget, you can choose the S5310-48P6X, which provides a maximum power budget of 740W and supports 15.4W PoE or 30W PoE+ per port, meeting your usage needs to the fullest.

The S5300 series PoE switches, except for the S5300-8P2S model, are equipped with intelligent fans that adjust the fan speed based on the switch's real-time temperature to reduce noise and power consumption. The S5300-8P2S is designed without a fan for noise-sensitive environments such as hotels, classrooms, and offices that require a quiet setting. Because there is no fan, it makes almost no noise. The S5300-24P4X and S5300-48P6X are equipped with two intelligent fans, while the S5300-24P4TS and S5310-48P6X are equipped with three intelligent fans, so you can choose according to your needs.
