I purchased the S5600-48S4X not solely for its cost effectiveness but also for its support of link reliability technologies such as BFD, LACP, MSTP, and others. This ensures optimal operation even when the network is handling multiple services and high traffic. Additionally, it can aggregate links from multiple switches into one via MLAG, allowing for redundancy in the event of switch failure and improving network reliability.
