The Cisco GLC-TE-I compatible SFP optical industrial transceiver module supports up to 100m link length over a copper connection via an RJ-45 connector. It is verified to interoperate with original Cisco switches, including the Nexus 9200/9300 and the Catalys 9200/9200L/9200CX/9300/9300X/9300L/9300LM/9400/9500/9600 series. Each SFP transceiver module is individually tested to be used on a series of Cisco switches, routers, servers, network interface cards (NICs), etc. Featured with low power consumption, high speed, this easy-to-install and hot-swappable 1G 1000BASE-T SFP transceiver are ideal for enterprise networking for LAN applications and different other networking places using copper connections.

This SFP copper module performs very well; the connection is stable after plugging it into the switch, and there have been no compatibility issues. The RJ-45 interface is also very convenient, allowing direct use of existing network cables without the need for additional fiber optic cabling. I purchased the industrial-grade version, but it works flawlessly in my home network environment. It seems that for typical home environments, the commercial-grade version would be sufficient.

I didn't realize this was an industrial-grade SFP copper module when I placed the order; I just thought the price was good and decided to try it out. After installing it, I found it ran exceptionally stably. Later, after carefully reviewing the product specifications, I realized it was an industrial-grade version, which explains its excellent performance. Industrial-grade modules definitely have their advantages, such as a wider temperature adaptability range. It's really great to get industrial-grade equipment at this price.
