NVIDIA/Mellanox MMA4Z00-NS-FLT (980-9I51A-00NS00) compatible 800G SR8 (2x400G SR4) OSFP is an Infiniband and Ethernet twin-port transceiver module with dual MPO-12 APC connectors at 400Gb/s each. It enables the fiber link of 50m at 2x400Gb/s over multi-mode fiber (MMF). With the Pulse-amplitude Modulation (PAM4) modulation, the 2xSR4 OSFP adopts 8-channels of 100G-PAM4 electrical modulation and two ports of 4-channel 100G-PAM4 optical Parallel modulation.
With a flat top design, the OSFP-RHS is offered for Liquid-cooled Systems and DGX H100 Cedar7 systems links. Its main application is to link the DGX H100 “Viking” CPU chassis to Cedar-7 complex to switches together up to 50 meters. QSFPTEK NVIDIA InfiniBand compatible optics are 100% tested in NVIDIA InfiniBand host devices, ideal for InfiniBand NDR end-to-end systems.

Cela fait environ six semaines que j’utilise ce module 800G SR8 dans mon cluster H100 — zéro problème. Pas de souci de chaleur, pas de coupure de liaison. J’ai essayé d’autres marques de transceivers InfiniBand avant, mais QSFPTEK offre la même compatibilité NVIDIA à une fraction du prix. Je rachèterai sans hésiter quand nous agrandirons le cluster au prochain trimestre.
