NVIDIA/Mellanox compatible 800G LR8 OSFP is an InfiniBand NDR and Ethernet optical transceiver module with dual MPO-12/APC connectors. It enables the fiber link of 10km at 850Gb/s over MTP/MPO single-mode fiber (SMF). With the Pulse-amplitude Modulation (PAM4) modulation, the long reach 8-channel (LR8) OSFP adopts 8-channels of 100G-PAM4 electrical to dual 4x 100G-PAM4 optical parallel modulation.

 

With a closed finned top design, the OSFP-IHS is offered for InfiniBand Quantum-2 or Ethernet Spectrum-4 air-cooled switches. Its main application is to link two switches together up to 10km meters. QSFPTEK NVIDIA Ethernet compatible optics are 100% tested in NVIDIA InfiniBand and Ethernet host devices, ideal for NVIDIA end-to-end InfiniBand NDR or Ethernet systems.
