The Cisco QSFP-40G-LR4 compatible 40G QSFP+ transceiver module with LC duplex connectors reaches a link up to 10km over OS2 single-mode fiber (SMF). This Cisco QSFP-40G-LR4 compatible module is verified to interoperate with original Cisco switches, including the Catalyst 3580/3560X/3650/4500/6000/9300/9300L/9400/9500/9600/9800 and Nexus 2000/5000/6000/7000/7700/8500/9200/9300/9300X/9400X/9500/9600/9800 series, etc. This 40G optical transceiver comes with a bidirectional 4-channel QSFP+ connector, enabling a total of 40 Gbps bandwidth by each channel carrying a 10 Gbps data rate. DOM/DDM (digital diagnostics monitoring) function is supported on the QSFP 40G fiber optic transceiver to achieve real-time operating parameters monitoring.
