QSFPTEK manufactured 10GBASE-ZR SFP+ transceiver module is compliant with SFP+ MSA, IEEE 802.3ae, SFF-8472. Besides, DDM (digital diagnostics monitoring) function is supported on the 10G fiber optic transceiver to achieve real-time operating parameters monitoring. This 10G SFP+ transceiver caters to long-haul or point-to-point network, etc. It's also fully compatible with almost all Cisco devices.

We went with the 10G ZR module for a project that needed really long-distance transmission, and it delivered exactly as promised. Still getting clean signals well in 80km with very low error rates. The thermal design seems solid too, as we’ve had it running continuously without overheating. Power consumption is a bit higher than standard optics, but that’s expected for this range.
