The Cisco QSFP-100G-CWDM4-S compatible optical transceiver module is designed with duplex LC connectors, reaching a link up to 2km over single-mode fiber (OS2). It is verified to interoperate with original Cisco switches, including the Catalyst 9400/9500/9600 and Nexus 9300/9500/9800/3000 series. QSFPTEK manufactured 100GBASE-CWDM4 QSFP28 transceiver module is compliant with IEEE 802.3bm, 100G QSFP28 CWDM4 MSA standard. Besides, DDM (digital diagnostics monitoring) function is supported on the 100G fiber optic transceiver to achieve real-time operating parameters monitoring. With these features, this 100G QSFP28 transceiver is widely applied in data centers, campus networks, the enterprise core layer, etc.

We deployed several pairs of 100G IR4s in our campus interconnection project, covering a link of approximately 6 kilometers. The actual link performance was stable and highly sensitive, with a lower-than-expected bit error rate after deployment and excellent compatibility. If the delivery speed could be further improved, it would be even better.
